Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of folivalabs.com and any purchase from Foliva Labs ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order or using this site, you agree to them. Please read the safety section below carefully — it matters for a product your dog wears in the water.

Who We Are

Foliva Labs operates folivalabs.com and sells the Foliva Dog Swim Vest directly to customers worldwide. Foliva Labs' registered business entity and address are available on request — email support@folivalabs.com.

Orders and Acceptance

  • Placing an order through our PayPal checkout link is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, once your payment is confirmed and an order confirmation is sent to the email you provided.
  • We may cancel or refuse any order — for instance if we suspect fraud, we're out of stock, or there's a pricing or listing error — and if we do, you'll be refunded in full.
  • Double-check your shipping address, size, and color before paying. We ship to the address and specifications on the order, and we email you to confirm those details before it ships.

Prices and Taxes

  • All prices on folivalabs.com are listed in US dollars.
  • The price shown at checkout may include sales tax where required by law. You're responsible for any tax on your purchase that isn't collected at checkout.
  • We may change prices at any time, but a price change won't affect an order you've already placed and had accepted.

Payment

Payment is processed by PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal balance or with a major credit or debit card through PayPal's guest checkout — you don't need a PayPal account to pay with a card. Your payment is also subject to PayPal's own user agreement. We never receive or store your card number.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer free shipping worldwide. Orders typically arrive 8–14 days after purchase within the United States, 10–20 days in Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia and New Zealand, and in 2 to 5 weeks elsewhere; we email a tracking number once your order ships. Foliva Labs uses a fulfillment partner to ship orders directly to you. Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duty or VAT charged by your own country, plus a handling fee your carrier may add for clearing the parcel through customs — these are payable by you and are not included in the price you pay us. Returns and Refunds

You can return your vest within 30 days of delivery — for any reason, with no justification needed. If you're in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this covers your legal 14-day right of withdrawal and then some. Product Use and Safety

Please read before use
  • The Foliva Dog Swim Vest is a recreational buoyancy aid intended to assist dogs in the water. It is not a certified personal flotation device or life-saving equipment, and it is not approved by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) or any other regulatory agency as rescue or safety equipment.
  • Always closely supervise your dog around pools, lakes, rivers, oceans, or any body of water — whether or not they're wearing the vest. Never leave a dog unattended near water.
  • Check the fit, and inspect all straps, buckles, and stitching, before every single use. Don't use the vest if it shows signs of wear, damage, or a loose fit.
  • The vest is designed to assist swimming and help keep your dog's head above water — it does not guarantee your dog's safety, and results depend on your dog's breed, size, health, swimming ability, and water conditions.
  • By using the product, you accept these risks and agree that you, not Foliva Labs, are responsible for supervising your dog's safety in and around water.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foliva Labs and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our product, including — without limitation — injury to or death of your pet.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
  • The product is provided "as is," with only the warranties required by law; we don't promise that it will prevent drowning or injury.
  • Some states don't allow these kinds of limitations, so some of them may not apply to you.

Intellectual Property

The text, photos, videos, and design of folivalabs.com belong to Foliva Labs or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking first — email support@folivalabs.com.

Eligibility and Acceptable Use

  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order.
  • Don't misuse the site — no fraud, hacking attempts, scraping, or interfering with how the site works.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by United States law and the law of the state where Foliva Labs is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Foliva Labs will confirm the specific state here once its business registration is finalized — email support@folivalabs.com if you need that confirmed sooner. Wherever possible, contact us first at that address if something's wrong with your order; most issues are resolved by email long before it would make sense to go to court.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our store changes. Updates take effect once posted here, and continuing to use folivalabs.com or placing an order after that means you accept the update.
